>>>>>>>>>>>>>> |
According to
state campaign finance laws, candidates for elected
office must file campaign finance reports with the City
Clerk's office twice before the final election in
November. Only four candidates filed twice by the September and October deadlines. City Councilors Nick Kolofoles and Patrick Blanchette both filed the two reports on time as well as candidates Carlos Matos (District "B") and Richard Fielding (District "F"). Not filing at
all were: Councilor Nunzio DiMarca, former candidate Dan
Valcourt (District "F"" defeated) and
Laura Vanderveer (District "D" School
Committee). At Large Candidate Isreal Reyes, who has immunity from the Tribune for his accepting thousands of dollars in contributions from developers who were before him as a member of the Planning Board, did not file the October reports. The rest of the candidates listed below filed either in September or October but did not file both reports.
