Arab Puppets at the UN

BACK

In skimming the online headlines recently, I came across a Reuters story picked up by ABC and other major news (for lack of a better word) sites. The headline read: ISRAEL SHOULD TALK ABOUT NUCLEAR ARMS: EL-BARADEI. Intrigued by the thought of the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) drawing Israel into a discussion about nuclear weapons, I read on. This Arab talking puppet of the UN declared in a very poignant statement that we need to rid the Middle East of all weapons of mass destruction.

To the best of my knowledge the most recent weapons of mass destruction produced by the Middle East boarded four planes three years ago in the United States and I am confident that none of them were Israeli. Maybe we should address the problems in the Middle East, Mr. El-Baradei, rather than bash Israel for nothing. Israel is widely believed to have nuclear weapons, but, as stated in that article, it has adopted a policy of strategic ambiguity in regard to nuclear weapons. The Israelis have neither admitted nor denied nuclear capabilities, leaving their enemies to weigh out the possibilities of her nuclear readiness.

This strategy very much upsets the UN, who wants to know exactly what cards everyone at the table is holding. If they cannot see the cards they cannot give the right signal to anti-Israel and anti-American extremists who want to suck up to them by pissing on democracy and attacking the US and Israel. The very thought of the UN (not surprisingly of course) coming out yet again against a peaceful American ally in a terrorist hot-spot is absolutely disgusting, and only brings further proof to the ridiculousness of the UN.

El-Baradei suggested very diplomatically, of course, that he respects their right to strategic ambiguity, as he assumes, as does the rest of the world, that they have already produced nuclear weapons. But he would like to call Israel to the table to be a partner in ridding the region of those weapons before a peace plan is established, and even while Israel is constantly under threats of terrorism. Translation: Dear Israel, please destroy unilaterally any technological leverage and superiority that you have managed to amass through intelligence and hard work and come down to the level of the animals around you who are not as advanced as you are so they can attempt to destroy you on a level playing field. It is not fair to bring a gun to a knife fight.

It is absolutely fair and appropriate to bring a gun to a knife fight. If the opponent with the knife has a brain in his head he will walk away from the fight before it goes too far. Unfortunately, Israel often times is fighting people without the prerequisite equipment that I just mentioned who lack all the decision-making skills necessary to walk away from the fight, so incursions still take place. Now imagine the one billion idiots carrying knives who are currently a little wary of the 5 million people with guns learning that there are no more guns. I am not convinced that Mr. El-Baradei and the UN want to make this a fair fight, nor are they interested in peace in the region. This call for Israel to disarm is a call for her to commit suicide. I say to the UN and to all their anti-democratic cells (maybe the right term is representatives) around the globe: Once again, you have failed at fooling anyone.
