Center picture, the home of Lawrence District "B" councilor Grisel Silva, who spent the last three days in a hotel
before being let back in her home yesterday. Besides trying to handle the flooding crisis that swept through
her home and displaced her family, Silva also had to field questions from the media and answer concerns
from constituents and trying to organizing neighbors for a future clean up effort.

Lawrence at night! Police brought in dozens of lights to illuminate
the area making the entire flood zone look like daylight.
