From the Herald of March 11 came the incredible story of psychologist Dr. Joseph J. Plaud, who was paid  $416,000 by the state over three years to argue for the release of more then one hundred sex offenders who prosecutors say should not be on the streets. One man Dr. Plaud recommended for release, a convicted rapist, was let out on parole when he committed another rape- of his own 14-year-old son!   Fortunately the judge in the case refused to go with Plaud’s recommendation.   Is this a recurring theme in Massachusetts? In the early 1990’s, Nathaniel Bar-Jonah, a pedophile was released from the Massachusetts Prison for the Sexually Dangerous after four mental health professionals testified he was no longer a danger to society. Bar-Jonah moved to Montana where he was accused of molesting, killing and eating a 10 year-old boy.

I read an article that disturbed me. You may have missed it- it is the kind of news article they usually publish in Saturday afternoon’s newspaper on page 32 between the obituaries and the dog food ads- but really should be a front page story. According to a report released by the Department of Energy, the US government has given weapons-grade uranium to 43 nations including Pakistan, Isreal, Mexico, Jamaica, South Africa, and Iran. And those are only the countries they admit to. When we lecture the world about weapons of mass destruction, we look like Ted Kennedy denouncing drunken drivers, or Bill Clinton preaching to young people about the virtue of chastity. We lead the world in the manufacture and sales of WMD.

Toxic chemicals are good for you. At least that’s what the authorities say about fluoride. But take a look at that warning label on your toothpaste.  You know the one about calling a poison control center if you ingest too much.  The Merck manual, standard reference for the pharmaceutical industry, says about fluoride, “Severe symptoms result from the ingestion of 0.25 to 0.45 grams, and death results from ingestion of 4 grams.” Fluoride: a moronic idea invented by morons…

Five million children are on psychiatric drugs in this country. Many are mandated to take them by schools, social workers, psychiatrists, and school psychologists. The message parents hear loud and clear is, “Drug your children before sending them to school - or we can take them away.”

One mother commented to me, “ I thought that we make decisions for our own kids. Where does the state come in ordering me to give my kids drugs?”   The government wants to raise your kids. Oh, you’ll feed, clothe, and care for them, but the government will direct the formation of their young minds according to their specifications –thus insuring the kids can grow up to be pyramid builders and drones in the new world order. To paraphrase Evita Clinton, wife of the village idiot, “It takes a government to raise a child.”    Thankfully, a bill is in before the Senate, which, if enacted, would stop most of this drugging of kids. The bill would prohibit your child being drugged as a condition for attending school. It’s called the Child Medication Safety Act. (Senate 1390) Please call Senators Kerry and Kennedy on this.
